Nicolas Jaar

One of my favorite producers going on right now. Here is a new 12" "Love You Gotta Lose Again" and his new album "Space is Only Noise"

Enjoy.

Roy Harper - Flat Baroque and Beserke

Great Album from Roy Harper. Not one stinker on this album, good from front to back. Very nice "loner-folk".

Dog Ear 7"

My good friend Henry put me up on this tip. Don't really know anything about these guys so any info would be greatly appreciated.

Anyways, very nice 7 inch here, a little country, Neil Young-esque, some nice slide guitar action on the A side (Just Children) , little hippy dippy "love is lost & love is gained and love is wild and love is tame take it while you can" very nice stuff a straight up rocker. The flip, "The Man Who Left Her" is a little more relaxed, with bongos and some Skip Spence vibes. A very neat 7 inch all in all. Please enjoy.

The Black Dog - Music for Real Airports

"What we’ve got here, then, is an album that is many things at once. It does convey, to a very real extent, the weariness and boredom of waiting around at various points of an airport-based journey, but it makes a virtue of it, somehow maintaining the ennui while transmogrifying it into something beautiful. It’s a fitting third part in the recent trilogy (so far) of albums. And, if we’re being honest, it hints at a desire to move into soundtrack work. But why not, when here is a collection of sonic vignettes that evoke on their own, yet combine to form a seamless whole? We’ll know in advance who Duncan Jones can call when the time comes to make Moon 2: Electric Boogaloo."
